I am inclined to agree on the basis that it creates anger and bitter resentment. It certainly does not educate, help, prevent or deter in real terms - when you realy analyse and compare regional returns


I try to see each side of the argument .. but cams and technology do in themselves present serious "systems" problems as how to use "intelligently, objectively, purposely, fairly, justly and with value for money"

I do not think any police force has developped the right strategy on this to date.
I admit I am "old school" .. but have a very open mind all the same. I still say fair justice has to be objective and that we must treat our customers with polite dignity even if their actions are "below the belt" to the extent of admitting guilt by action and not word

If a cam is used properly and enhancing just fair play . fine.

But if used unfairly and without objecive regard - then it sours justice and all other powers associated with Lady Justice, Lady Equality and Father Fraternity



I TAKE the comment on the chin. Shudder and consider myself very fortunate that I serve the public here well and that our public appreciate all this .
